Welcome to NCCU's Veterans Affairs Office! Our goal is to provide a smooth transition from military to college life for veterans, service members, and dependents. In these efforts, NCCU is recognized by G.I. Jobs as a Military Friendly School and has established EAGLE VETS, a recognized chapter of Student Veterans of America. During your matriculation, we are here to assist you with the VA Educational Benefits process and offer overall support to ensure academic progression towards graduation.

Veteran Affairs Enrollment Form
This form must be completed every semester in order to be certified.

Additional Notes:

  • You will need to fill out this form prior to the beginning of the following Semester in order to be Certified for that term.
  • To prevent any VA delays in your benefits processing, please submit this form as soon as possible.
  • Forms will be accepted and processed on a first come basis beginning the week of preregistration
  • If you have any changes in enrollment including but not limited to: Adds, Drops, Changes in your credit hours or Changes in your Degree Program, please notify the School Certifying Official immediately by email at: hhenryii@nccu.edu, phone: 919.530.5312 or in person at the Veterans Resource Center: Miller-Morgan Room 216.

NCCU Health & Counseling Services
The NCCU Counseling Center is staffed by counselors and mental health professionals who specialize in individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, substance abuse prevention and intervention, and anger management.

In-State Tuition Information
In some instances, students may qualify for in-state tuition or tuition waivers without fulfilling the residency requirements:
- Active-duty members of the armed services are charged in-state tuition while abiding in North Carolina because of their active military duty in the state. This applies to reservists too.
- A dependent relative who shares the abode of a member of the armed services who is in North Carolina on active duty also qualifies for in-state tuition.
American Eagle
NCCU Eagle Vets Student Organization
Eagle VET were established to assist veterans and dependents with their assimilation into academia by providing the proper networks and resources required for optimal academic and professional achievement.
