Eagle Mania

Eagle Mania is the official start to the NCCU student experience. New and returning students begin their semester with various activities to assist with the transition back to academic and social life. Events during the week will serve as an opportunity for students to explore the vast array of resources available at NCCU, including academic, cultural, social, athletic, and community service programs.

Students are expected to attend Eagle Mania from August 14 to 18. Fall 2019 classes begin Monday, August 19.

Eagle Mania LIVE! 10:40 pm to 12:00 midnight at the O'Kelly Riddick Football Stadium.

A night of Eagle Pride…Amplified! Join the Student Activities Board for a night of performances, novelties, and the recording of the Class of 2023 shuffle.

Your Eagle Spirit takes FLIGHT at Midnight SCREAM. Here you will learn all of the must-know NCCU chants, dances, and songs played by our very own Sound Machine Marching Band. Our spirit leaders, the Screaming Eagles, will get you prepared to show any opponent what it means to be an Eagle. Your spirit training will take place in the championship O’Kelly-Riddick Football Stadium and will feature a special celebrity performance.

Eagle Mania Carnival: 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the L.T. Walker Parking Lot.

Training Day: 8:00 to 11:00 pm at the McDougald-McLendon Arena.

You will be introduced to student organizations, experience campus life, and learn what it means to be an Eagle. It’s Always Lit... featuring a special celebrity performance by Lightskin Keshia.
