NCCU at the World Geography Bowl

At November's geography bowl at UNCG, the NCCU Geography Bowl team placed 3rd in yesterday's competition.  They won a barn-burner against UNC-Pembroke on the very last team question.  New DEEGS student Isabel Gutierrez was named the top undergraduate player in the whole bowl.  She and Phillip Agbesi were invited to compete on the North Carolina team which will be competing against other states at the Southeast Division of the AAG workshop being held in Wilmington in three weeks.  Please pass your congratulations to them when you see them
