The Dietetic Internship Program at NCCU is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education of the American Dietetic Association (ADA), 120 South Riverside Plaza, Suite 2000, Chicago, IL 60606-6995, phone number, 312-779-1600. This is a specialized accreditation body recognized by the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation and the United States Department of Education. The Program provides the supervised practice hours required to meet the performance standard for entry-level dietitians. Students who complete the Dietetic Internship are eligible to take the CDR registration examination to become Registered Dietitians. Department: Human Sciences |
