Lead campus-wide initiatives that are designed to reduce risks for behavioral health concerns and foster healthy lifestyles, including disseminating current behavioral health information; educating students about behavioral health issues; nurturing healthy attitudes and behaviors for students to make informed decisions regarding personal mental health; and promoting a culture that values and supports a healthy community.

Develop, implement, and evaluate theory and evidence-based health education programming focusing on prevention, risk reduction, and health promotion for all NCCU students; develop program content, and learning resources for all interventions assist with the development and execution of evaluation tools for specific education interventions; and collaborate with other campus resources to ensure accuracy of information and effectiveness of programming.

Lead the Suicide Prevention Coordination Committee and serve as the campus liaison to community partner on the committee.
