I teach elementary statistics and college algebra. I am also the coordinator for both elementary statistics and college algebra. In addition to my teaching schedule, I am the chairman of the General Education Council.

I am a native of Tennessee. I grew up in rural West Tennessee in a small town called Bethel Springs, Tennessee. I am the oldest of 6 children and the first in my family to receive a B.S., M.S., and ED.D degree. I began teaching at NCCU in 1983.
