Recruitment Programs

A variety of programs, services, and activities are available to assist hiring organizations in identifying top talent at NCCU.

Post a Job or Internship: Post unlimited jobs and internships at no cost with our Eagle Career Network site.  Eagle Career Network is powered by Handshake.

Attend a Campus Career Fair: Register for upcoming career fairs via your Eagle Career Network account.

  • Business and IT Career Expo: September 27, 2018 | click here to register (Open Now!)
  • STEM Career Expo: October 6, 2018 | registration link coming soon

Schedule an On-Campus Interview:  Interviews can be scheduled online via your Eagle Career Network account.  Campus interviews are highly recommended for organizations that are actively recruiting.  Students seeking jobs and internships find it more convenient to interview on campus while juggling class schedules. Interviewing rooms, scheduling service, Wi-Fi access, and hospitality suites are available.  Virtual interviews via Skype and WebEx are now offered.   Contact Monica Stuckey for more information or to schedule an on-campus interview.

Host a Career Meetup: Try out a new format for information sessions.  Companies conduct a 5-minute pitch on current openings, programs, or fellowships, followed by a reception-style networking event with students. Contact Christy Dunston for more information. Visit Handshake to sign up for meetup dates.

Employer Engagement

Career Ready Fest:  Employers are invited to review resumes and conduct mock interviews as part of our Career Ready Fest event.  This is a great opportunity to build visibility and identify potential talent through our career preparation program. For more information, please contact Christy Dunston.

Career Excursions: Interested in hosting students at your company site? Career Excursions are a great way for students to gain first-hand experience of your organization's values and culture while learning about career opportunities.  For more information, please contact Christy Dunston.

Case Competitions: Have a special project or case study that can involve students? Case studies are a great way to engage students in professional development and identify top talent through a simulated project or scenario set by your organization.  For more information, please contact Christy Dunston or Catrina DosReis.

Certified Internship Program:  Have an unpaid internship? The Certified Internship Program (CIP) allows students to complete their community service requirement for graduation through a structured unpaid internship. For more information, please contact Shannon Keith.

University Internship Program Site:  Serve as a University Internship Program site by entering into an educational agreement to recruit NCCU interns for the summer, spring, or fall.  Our office will work with you to source candidates to achieve internship placements. For more information, please contact Shannon Keith.
