Campus Communications System

In addition to the traditional phone system, NCCU ITS has a fully integrated campus communications system. This communications system includes:

  • Phones for faculty/staff with caller id, speaker, conference call and hold features
  • National (contiguous US) long distance
  • Ability to have your campus extension appear on your mobile phone using a soft phone application
  • Conference calling up to 6 individuals
  • WebEx and enterprise video
  • Ability to manage phone features (online)
  • Voicemail into email
  • Support for presence technologies; the ability to know when others are online as well as ability to use same communication tools across devices
