Graduate Student Association
Greetings, Graduate Students, Alumni, Faculty, and Staff!
It is my esteemed pleasure to greet you as the new 2018–2019 Graduate Student Association (GSA) President. I am delighted for this opportunity to serve the graduate student body as the chief liaison to alumni, faculty, staff, and the community. My goals for this year are to grow awareness of graduate student association programming, intensify participation in graduate research, build a network that complements academic research, and produce increased professional development/networking opportunities for each discipline within the School of Graduate Studies.
I am fortunate to have an incomparable executive board and senate to work with to achieve the aforementioned aims seamlessly. Every year, the executive board has adopted the motto "Success through Teamwork"; this is how we will reach our goals. We want to assist every graduate student in getting the most out of North Carolina Central University as well as themselves. Together, we shall show the world that NCCU attracts, nurtures, and develops brilliant minds capable of significantly impacting existing businesses or competing as new entries. The time is now to be relentless in your pursuit of excellence and the accomplishment of great feats. We are all powerful beyond measure: Graduate Eagles, let your light shine!
I ask that you join me in setting the standard for the classes that follow and the classes of the past to marvel at. The Graduate Student Association is here to serve you in your academic endeavors; our services are in place to ensure that you may fulfill your definition of success today and beyond.
